So anyone who lives in Alabama knows that any amount of snow means absolute mayhem. But can you really blame us? It’s not like we’re really experienced and we don’t have the equipment to really be able to handle snow or ice. Even with all of that going on, I love snow. I love that the city shuts down. I don’t love that *my* company doesn’t shut down, but today I left early just to be cautious. Leaving work it was slushy and it looked like the snow was starting to melt, but when I got home I saw something a bit different. There was a lot of snow on the ground. I convinced my fiance to take a walk through Maple Hill and I am so glad that we did. It was beautiful. When it snows everything is so quiet and peaceful. We walked through Maple Hill for over an hour and half. I only hope that I won’t have to go to work tomorrow to take another stroll through…
